We have a drive thru quite near and the other day, (so i have the correct money ready) i went online to check the price of what I wanted and it was a recent post. When I ordered and drove to next window to pay, it was 40p more so I had to fumble around for extra change. I suppose everything goes up eventually but the excessive rises are making things difficult for so many and the problem is, they will probably never come down again, petrol being one.

Macdonalds cheeseburger is still value for money. I can't understand why Mrsdarcy is complaining. After all it's a takeaway meal. No cooking or washing up.

If only this'd make people avoid McD and fast food restaurants in general... Nope.

It's a highly processed sterile food product that has a ridiculously slow decomposing rate because bacteria probably don't recognise it as food. We've probably all seen the 25 year old McDonalds burgers on the internet that still look pretty fresh. Probably the small cardboard box it comes in is as nutritious.

Everything is going up in price sadly allthough McDonald's is not an essential food item people will still pay whatever they charge if they want it

Still cheap and cheerful.

It was bound to happen, maybe even a perfect moment for them to up the price with practically everything else rising. That's still a very low price... but then again it's always been low enough to be suspicious. 😂

Everything else is going up so I guess it was inevitable, I doubt it will put people off.

Midnightflower unlikely. They're too used to McD.

I'd rather eat ar Greggs even though it'd cost me more, but I'd be more satisfied.

My kids love Greggs sausage rolls, there very handy when we're out an about. I can still remember the horror stories about Mc Donald's so I've avoided it for over 20 years!

Midnightflower I tried Taco Bell's £5 craving box and you know what, I'd honestly have preferred instead Greggs' offerings instead.

They're frankly fantastic.

its about time. it does turn it into an 'over £1' item though which is a whole different category even if its only a few pence...😏
