Making a Bit of Extra Money

Help

Apologies if this is not allowed! I use websites like ebay & shpock to sell bits & bobs when I have a clear out. Obviously eBay has fees and shpock I find people tend to be very unreliable I give my address and time and people don’t show up! Does anyone know of any other websites I can try my luck with? Thanks x

I think Etsy is better if you want to sell handcrafted things. Facebook has a marketplace too, seems like people mostly sell furniture there, but the good thing u can see where are they there and than you will know straight away if u can go there or not.

I think you should google them, there are more than one. Some has apps on phone.

I hate eBay, a Chinese guy hacked my account and wanted to sell things from USA, when my account made in the UK. I think they should block these things before they happening.

Oh no that’s terrible! I’m not a huge eBay fan either, only use it every now and then. Thank you for the advice though😊 x

I find Facebook marketplace is good. You still get people that don't show up though. Don't wait in for anyone. Ask them to message you an hour before they're coming. Genuine people don't mind doing this 🙂

Facebook marketplace is good. You will still get some people who won't show, but you can get people to message you before they are coming to collect. You can also use gumtree and preloved.
