Making Money with Signed Autographs?
Other
has anyone had any experience with this? I don't have any collected, but if I did it might be from people I really look up to, so not sure about parting ways with it

Got to tell this story: A reasonably famous old friend of mine heard that a shop somewhere in the North East would if someone famous paid by cheque for not too expensive items, then the cheque, with autograph, would not be cashed, but retained and the cheque added to their displayed collection. Almost as an "Elvis shopped here" type advert.
He paid for something by cheque and a week or so later went back to the shop and saw a photo copy of his cheque in the glass case - he wasn't famous enough!

lol that's a funny story - I'm sure your friend didn't mind...or was he insulted! thanks for sharing

hspexy It was common practice for celebrities to pay small amounts with a cheque - you've got to admit if someone such as Paul McCartney paid you by cheque for something perhaps £5 - the cheque could be retained or sold for much more. A cheque would be easier to sell - much less chance of it being a fake.

davidstockport indeed - you would have his bank account details as well, and his handwriting on record, so very valuable

hspexy This another TRUE story - Paul McCartney once wrote a letter of complaint to a local trader or builder - who then sold it for thousands.
Letter are worth a lot https://www.mirror.co.uk/3am/celebrity-news/paul-mccartneys-letter-prince-beginning-8430855 I once had a letter from Brian Epstein (The Beatles manager)- it was refusing expenses which I hadn't tried to fiddle in any way. I only had it for about ten minutes my Mother threw it on the fire in disgust. Grrrrrrrrrrr

hspexy Here's a deal I posted which Tom talked about on national TV (ITV Lorraine):
