A Man Hits a Crying Baby on a Bus. Thankfully the CCTV Image is so Clear
In the News
Luton toddler bus assault: 19-month-old girl 'hit by man' on a bus. He also shouted at the baby. I can't believe what I read sometimes.

Loislane So sad that someone would lose their temper like that to hit a child x
Let's be honest here, a toddler crying for long periods of time in public places (even worse screaming) can be annoying. However, there is absolutely no need for the man to react the way he did. He could have just gotten off the bus if it annoyed him that much.
Dani1 There is never any need for violence. Especially towards those who are physically weaker than us. x
RegularComper90 that's so true. Tbh nothing will probably happen to him if he is caught, but,
at least by sharing the cctv ppl who know him will know x
No one decided to beat the crap out of that scumbag? Sigh.
I wouldn't be surprised if he gets caught and then claims "I have mental problems" as many have when they committed a crime.
I do understand what you mean, it is shocking that a man could hit a child. I wonder if he would have hit an adult if they'd annoyed him whilst on the bus? doubt it.
Completely wrong. If you don't want to listen or play with children whilst on the bus then move away and put your headphones in don't resort to shouting and hitting, its that simple.
I agree, just walk away and listen to music or get off the bus if you cannot tolerate a child crying.
That is terrible and if i was the mum i would be absolutely fuming, I probably would of punched him. Looking at the man though i would say its possible he has autism (the way he is holding himself and the earphones). If he is then obviously its not an excuse but maybe he needs help.
I think it's likely that the child's mum was in shock. If they find him and he is autistic then I hope he will get help.
I can’t actually believe what I’ve just read! How anyone could think this acceptable is beyond me. Poor innocent child. What is this world we live in!
I haven't been able to respond to this story until now because I have been so angered and upset by it. I really worry about the future and what we will tolerate in twenty years ahead as 'normal' or 'oh well, he did have a good reason'. Knife crime has, sadly, silenced a normal challenge in cases like this.
Hi angemski I honestly know how you feel. It is heart- wrenching to read some of the stories like this in the news. There's no good reason to behave this way and I hope people can see that. I sincerely hope things in the future will improve x
