Do You Need a Matalan Card?

I think you do need one, I've lost mine before and I've had to open another so i could buy my items at the till.. feel free to correct me though anyone

No. I’ve shopped their previously and the card gets you points or whatever, but I’ve bought in the past without, although it’s been a while

I'm sure they'll just sign you up for one at the till, think that's what we did when we forgot a card in the past

My mum used to have one when I was a kid, ive shopped in Matalan loads since becoming an adult and never used a card to shop there

Not needed to shop there no. You could always sign up at the till though

They always ask me for my matalan card. Not sure if I said no what would happen

No you don’t need a card for Matalan however if you do have one then you get offers like money off or percentage off your purchases. Plus you get a brochure of new items now and again with the offer on the back page.

I have never needed one, I however can't remember the last time I went in one but know I don't have a card

You can always ask them to locate you based on name and post code - my cousin forgot hers and they located her details on the system (so you could use your mum’s details, but obv with her consent). In general, you don’t need a card to shop there

They have a new Matalan rewards card and they regularly send you a email for 20% off, worth it if you shop at Matalan as I do!! I’ve also downloaded the app and added my card on there and you get rewards there too

I always get asked for my card at the till but also have the ap and my card is on there too.

Iv never had a card and shopped there often. I imagine it’s either a thing of the past or you can sign up in store if your store does need one.

I think that they use the card details after you use it to trigger sending you offers etc. Therefore if you don't use yours they don't send catalogues etc.

U can get one at the till they usually ask if you have one and whether you want to sign up not many good offers dont really see the point in having one myself tbh

I have tried 6 times to register but will not accept.

I never use one and in all time as it just across the street from me

Help lost my card

I was told I had to have one when I got to the till otherwise I couldn't buy anything. I got a card at the till. It's years since I've been so might not be the case now.
