Is It Me, My Head Meds or Deja Vu?

Ask a Question

Am I seeing the seeing the same deals either every day or every other day?

I check every single post, renew newest and check from where I last checked from so I don't miss a deal.

Is my head injury medication making me confused or am I having deja vu. Can someone clarify because I feel as if I'm going a bit loopy loo. Thanking you in kind. Much love Image

Are you just looking at 'Popular Posts'? 🤔

If so, they can be the same for days.

Not Deja Vu I suspect but Amazon Marketplace tat !

Items like hair clippers ,shavers , thermometers , scissors , massagers , oximeters ,screwdriver sets etc, etc are all favourites on here (to all members that is who haven't ever purchased the useless junk !) .

They are made in the same factory (perhaps with a different brand sticker ) but each are sold by many Marketplace sellers with totally made up selling prices hence totally made up "discounts" or vouchers designed to snare the gullible .

At any one time you will see 30 or 40 of each on sale at Amazon and many make there way on here as "deals" as its so easy to "click and paste from Amazon 😒.

Not as popular as a few months back ( I suspect many members have made a purchase and found that blunt clippers or scissors that fall apart swiftly end up in the bin ) . As for the thermometers and oximeters they are wildly inaccurate (if they actually work) so totally useless for purpose indeed dangerous to rely on .

You will soon come to realise there are not 1000 + deals a day 😮 , Yes 1000+ deal posts of which 40 or 50 perhaps are "deals " ☹ .

Golfforall Same product, same brand and same price. I just didn't check if was same seller or member posting. Going start to start writing down as I keep forgetting. I might be confusing myself.

zai Just click on "save deal" at the right of the individual deal page , then you can access the "deals" in future by clicking on your "Z" (in your case ) at the top right of any page and click on "saved deals" in the menu that drops down .

zai report them when you see them by clicking on the 3 dots. It is the only way to find out for certain as they will be deleted if duplicate.

Lynibis I have tried to do this in the past but it asks for a url. Then it's finding the other post. Isn't the url the same for the same post?

I have managed to report where it's a duplicate by the same member within minutes of each other.

Golfforall oh my gosh. That's going to make it so easy. Great tip.

zai no it isn't the same url as it is linked to whoever posts it. If you use golfforall's tip you can go back to it but finding original you can do on 'search deals' or just look back at recent pages as it will not be far back if you can remember it.

If people don't report anomalies the pages become clogged up just as when people keep repeating chat topics.

I know that some deals from retailers are extended, I know a couple of times I thought I've posted it but when I checked mine had expired 🙂

beccatavender... no it's not that. I just found one that was posted 22 hours ago and then again 2 hours ago. Different members, same price, same site, same seller. I think there's a member that is taking advantage of products being a slight variation in measurements and taking advantage of others hard work and earning points the easy way.

neo1 try putting the product in search bar and it should come up, that's how I've been finding them just last few days.

zai The previous ones that were posted are not showing thats the point so i cant report the newer ones as dupes. I know for a fact one was there as i made a comment on it and liked it, i searched my liked list and its not there either, all very strange

neo1 clever tactics... someone's learnt how to beat the system , post and get your points, leave on for a bit and then delete. I reported one it was for a 2 tier shelf microwave shelf rack on ebay. 20 hours apart, same seller, same price but different members. Anyhow the newer post was measurements were different by a few cm's!

So obviously different url. I got a message that my report was wrong But the new post that I reported disappeared and I had had it on my saved list as per advice from(@ golfforall) , it disappeared from there too. I wanted to check the rest of that members posts. Alas they did a houdini. On my posts now if there are there are different colours available i am writing this in the description so no one can be cheeky enough to just copy and paste the variations. On one of my posts I have blatantly stated in capitals why I am doing it and for them to stop riding on other members coat tails.
