Meat Loaf Dies Aged 74

In the News

Singer Meat Loaf has died.

Didn't mind the bloke and thought he was great in Fight Club but I couldn't get on with the album Bat Out Of Hell.

Did you enjoy his music?

Omg I had no idea that was him in Fight Club! 🤦🏻‍♀️ makes me want to watch it again.

I wasn’t really a fan of his music either.

I've seen FC twice and too don't remember him, but now I'll keep it in mind.

FC is essentially the OG Mr. Robot.

RIP.

I liked Meatloaf, the Bat Out Of Hell album was a classic, but I think you needed to listen to it all to really appreciate it.

I remember when Bat out of Hell was released, it was on the radio constantly. I was watching the news and there was an interview with a guy who has spent the last 30 years as a tribute Meatloaf

There was a guy near me who was a Meatloaf tribute act, he went by the mane of Peteloaf and was really good.

Funny thing is, I've recently started to listen to all of his songs...what a fantastic talented musician. You'd be amazed at how many songs of his you'd recognise if you asked Alex's to play his music...RIP, such sad news and a young age for today xx

Big character and a big voice. Whilst I wasn't a massive fan I love some of his stuff. He made a surprising number of films too - my favourites been Rocky Horror Picture Show and Fight Club. I only saw him live once when he was unfortunately well past his prime.

The documentary - Meatloaf : In And Out Of Hell is a good watch

74 seems so young these days, he wasn't a favourite of mine, but I hugely respect his work. RIP Meatloaf
