In the News
Singer Meat Loaf has died.
Didn't mind the bloke and thought he was great in Fight Club but I couldn't get on with the album Bat Out Of Hell.
Did you enjoy his music?
BBC News - Singer Meat Loaf dies aged 74
Omg I had no idea that was him in Fight Club! makes me want to watch it again.
I wasn’t really a fan of his music either.
I've seen FC twice and too don't remember him, but now I'll keep it in mind.
FC is essentially the OG Mr. Robot.
RIP.
I saw this on the news this morning, very sad I haven't listened to his music much in recent years but I used to listen a lot and do like a lot of his songs.
This is sad I had I'd do anything for love on the other day telling my oldest daughter hes a legend
I absolutely loved meat loaf seen him live a couple of times back in the day best live show I’ve ever seen
I liked Meatloaf, the Bat Out Of Hell album was a classic, but I think you needed to listen to it all to really appreciate it.
I remember when Bat out of Hell was released, it was on the radio constantly. I was watching the news and there was an interview with a guy who has spent the last 30 years as a tribute Meatloaf
There was a guy near me who was a Meatloaf tribute act, he went by the mane of Peteloaf and was really good.
Love his music,I have Bat out of hell on CD,I loved Two out of three ain't bad since I was a teenager..I played some of his songs this morning x
Really regret not seeing him and bonnie Tyler on stage together it was supposedly fantastic
my mum is a great fan of him and loved his music me not so much but still appreciated it. its sad but at least his legacy will live on.
Loved Bat out of Hell when it was 1st released in the 70’s. Great music to listen to and I was sad to hear Meatloaf had passed away
I heard this yesterday absolutely so sad I loved his music my favourite album was bat out of hell RIP meatloaf
Funny thing is, I've recently started to listen to all of his songs...what a fantastic talented musician. You'd be amazed at how many songs of his you'd recognise if you asked Alex's to play his music...RIP, such sad news and a young age for today xx
Big character and a big voice. Whilst I wasn't a massive fan I love some of his stuff. He made a surprising number of films too - my favourites been Rocky Horror Picture Show and Fight Club. I only saw him live once when he was unfortunately well past his prime.
The documentary - Meatloaf : In And Out Of Hell is a good watch

74 seems so young these days, he wasn't a favourite of mine, but I hugely respect his work. RIP Meatloaf
We have most of his cd's. He was a great singer and live performer. Of course, he was in other films too namely The Rocky Horror Picture Show
