Mental Health Awareness Week
Ask a Question
Just seen that Richard Madeley will lead an all-male Loose Women panel for Mental Health Awareness Week, do you think this will encourage more men to watch and discuss Mental Health ?
This is a great idea as women we are more open about mental health and there is such a stigma for mental health when it comes to men. Hopefully this will encourage men to be more out and open with their mental health struggles.
I think that's a great idea, there definitely needs to be more encouragement for men to discuss mental health issues.
I think that people in general are a lot more open about their mental health than they are in the past
beccatavender I think it is easier to discuss mental health these days, and there are more resources available than there used to be. But I think we see/hear more women talking about their mental health issues than we do men, so things like the all male panel mentioned above could be really beneficial.
As someone that suffers with mental health issues and a strong supporter for better help and support for sufferers , I think this an excellent idea. I hope more men do take up this offer to watch and discuss. I know it's such a taboo topic for men. I wish you all good health
I hope so. I worked for a cancer charity for a long time, and we often targeted women, as they often opened the conversation with men, resulting in BOTH talking about it, addressing concerns, and raising awareness
