Migraine Relief

Anyone any emergency migraine relief suggestions? Cant take any oral meds. Have been curled up in the dark all day and its not getting better 😔 TIA

OneeyedRaven your welcome it’s amazing what this stuff can be used for in winter always have stock of it on feet at night thick socks help ease a cough

Migraines are miserable, I’m so sorry. I take tablets but if you can’t then I also use a cold compress. But I tend to have to do the same, lie in a dark room until it passes

I normally take tablets but had taken one didnt help then it got so bad i was vomiting so relived I can stand. fingers crossed you avoid any for as long as you can xx

Aren't you meant to put your feet and hands in cold water and some thing like frozen peas on the back of your neck?

First I must say you are lucky to be on here if you have a migraine, so first thing to do is turn off all gadgets. If able to read then you need a cool room in the dark and try and sleep. I find salt and vinegar crisps help and avoid chocolate, orange, fizzy drinks. Cold flannel on forehead and press of nose. Not all these things will work as we are all different. If you can eat make it light like a simple jam sandwich or ginger biscuit.

eyeballkerry ive not been on since posting and only wanted to check for suggestions and I have a blue light filter but thank you for your advice- ginger biscuits are helping !
