Mince Pies- Love Em or Hate Em?
Ask a Question
I use to hate them as did all but one of my family but baked some a few years ago on a whim and the home baked are so nice. My brother's two year old asks for them all year now. how about you all?
Same, never liked them, then my sister made them so had to try and I enjoyed it. I've tried some store bought ones recently and liked them too
I think they can be a bit hit & miss. I do like the puff pastry ones from Sainsbury’s though. They are gooooood!
oh my yes I had forgotten about those- I am doing some puff, all butter and think a few crumble top ones! All with lots of brandy rum and port with cranberries and vanilla added- I like them to taste fruity not just sweet. I am close to sticking on my apron right now lol
I have never liked them. I've tried loads over the years, including home made ones and not liked any of them. Our son tried a mince pie recently. He enjoyed the pastry but hated the filling.
I adore them. This year will experiment with frangipane topping for a change. Home made are better than most store bought I think.
Hate them. Mince pies, sprouts, christmas pudding, brandy sauce, mulled wine. I love xmas but hate most christmas food
I hate them lol. I hate most Christmas foods but mince pies are awful in my opinion my mom and dad love them so always get them some x
I used to hate them but ive been converted and now i can’t get enough! My husbands nan bakes her own and they are hands down the best - better than any other mince pie I’ve tried
I blimmin love em. Tesco iced top ones are my current favs tho cannot beat a warm home baked one with a cuppa.
