Minor Miracle, I Have Finally Hit 50,000 Points
Other
This seems like one of the hardest things I've done in a long time. I am stubborn, so I dug in and refused to give up. As latest deals' slowest point builder upper, this is my 3rd year here, I believe. The words of Neil Armstrong come to mind, something about a giant leap for mankind or at least a personal one for me. I didn't think I was ever going to manage it. I've hit the claim button. Thanks to all here who have put up with my posts since 2017 and for the website existing. (Not sure about trying to get other vouchers. Might give that a miss)
Hi Ann, I seem to have replied to myself instead of you further down this chat, however I see the 'Foundation' has now been removed.
lilyflower yeah I have a feeling that these Q&As by most the posters have multiple accounts I could be wrong
lilyflower it can be done I joined march last year and received my 50000 points week before Xmas you got this
Ann1984 yes I got this I'll keep going, don't really think about the points just enjoy being here.
lilyflower Not for this thread but tonights question at 17.30 from mystery OP is 'Foundation'
I was just rather slow. I had several bouts of time when when I didn't come and post at all, so I haven't been here every day, but I have been trying hard to hit that 50,000 over the last couple of months.
Well done ShellyAnn. Whatever you choose to spend it on will always remind you of your effort!
Just doing 1 deal and 5 comments per day can get you 73,000 in 1 year. But not everyone can spend lots of time doing this, I live alone so outside of work no other pressure. Well done ShellyAnn I am sure that once you are settled in your new home you will be able to point build again and could have your next £50 for christmas.
I am marching toward 250k and hope to get there before the end of April.
Back bedroom is now fully painted up. I think dad's horse racing has been cancelled and he's bored. I was thinking I might see if I can hit the next target before christmas. I'm using latest deals as a tea break and when I'm completed knackered out and need a sit down. I'm sure you will be able to get to 250k before the end of april.
Thank you everyone. I can say some st john wort tablets are going to be bought with a small part of the voucher. Not very exciting but it really helps control the stiffness and pain in my joints upon waking in the morning from my fibromyalgia. The rest might go on a new pair of loppers as I have several trees, lots of roses and who knows what else growing in the garden that needs to be sorted out. It's like a jungle in some parts.
Hi again Shelly, might I suggest trying some Turmeric if you haven't already? It seems to be used for so many complaints, among them painful joints, high blood pressure, diabetes, and so forth. I will come back and edit in the link so you can read the reviews.
Really annoyed......these were £11.99 just a few months ago, gone up by a third!
Lynibis my partner and myself use Turmeric with success for our joints but not the tablet form. I just buy the jar of powder from supermarket and put some in a pepper pot on the table and sprinkle over every meal.
lilyflower yes I read that. Mine are sort of in between as they are powder in a capsule but I do have some powder that I sprinkle in stews and casseroles etc.
Thank you. Hasn't arrived yet but I think it takes up to 5 days. I expect Tom is out buying toilet roll and can't process it yet .
Well done! The next one is a killer...but you will reach it no problem. That £50 voucher is only 50000 points away...
