I used a wrap last night while watching tv. I think Ive been spoiled by the heatwaves. Are you missing the heatwaves?
I was exactly the same, I had to pull the sofa throw over me as I felt a bit chilly. It feels a bit warmer this morning, the sun is back out here today so hopefully a warmer evening later 
Yes, it felt awfully chilly last night - definitely missing the heat from the sun (although sleeping is far easier, as I do like to snuggle under a duvet). I’m just glad it’s still decent out, not wet & windy - although I know the country needs a bit more rain
I don't mind them but I wouldn't say I'm missing them. Sometimes they get a bit too much for me. I don't mind the colder weather from time to time
Pjran yeah not too long now, this year has flown by though tbh, can't believe we're a week or so away from September already 
Sorry but not at all, throwing my duvet off and on all night is no fun for me, I'm of a certain age where the sun is not my best friend anymore, my garden is crying out for some rain. However the downside is my bedding & towels won't dry as quickly rotating on the airer in the garden if the heatwaves stop....Do l sound like I'm ungrateful and just want a happy medium 
Pinkspirit I keep out of the sun. Having the hot days has been great for drying the washing.
No its nice to be cooler. Dont want it to go lower just yet but its been too hot. We've had rain this week which has been needed
Jerseydrew I’m pleased to say we’ve had rain too. The garden certainly needed it, it’s so dry. Our grass is brown but I’m sure it will eventually grow back.
Pjran yes purs is brown or just gone completely. Its awful to see. Our hedges are just brown banks rather than green
No, not missing it as I have been able to do gardening for more than 5/6 minutes, and get lots more housework, cooking etc done.
Not missing it at all at today moment, enjoying the cooler weather, particularly at night when I can actually sleep as its not to hot. I am however still missing the rain, we've still had very little and still having to water the garden and the grass is still yellow everywhere
I'm not missing the heatwaves, I'm sleeping in my recliner with the back door still open. I have not closed my back door since the last chilly snap back in June.
adrian1966f although your chair must be comfortable it’s better to lay down to sleep. I hope you can go back to bed soon.
It's still warm enough outside, the rain was very welcome although I'd like it to rain only during the evening currently as I'm off work . I enjoy the heat but I would rather it whilst on holiday with a drink in my hand and by the pool.
I must say i am missing the warm evenings but i am not missing the heatwave at all. It was too hot to sleep, for me, when it was in the high 20 degree celsius so i am enjoying the cooler nights to sleep.
PhilipMarc yes it is summer but incredibly hot for much longer periods, that is a heatwave.
Not at all. I'm still in t-shirt and leggings. I didn't have to keep my windows open last night to sleep, thank goodness. It's 24 degrees outside where I am, so it's not cold. I'm looking forward to winter.
I'm not missing the heatwave at all. I was struggling in the heat. I was using a air conditioning unit that my mum had. We went down to just a cotton sheet and kept the bedroom window open. I tend to feel hot most of the time. Whilst everyone in the department has a fleece, tee shirts, jumpers and thermals on I've just got the uniform tunic on all winter.
This has felt like a long Summer & tbh im ready for the cooler months. But then I prefer Autumn / Winter.
Glitterandgold my favourite season is spring, seeing the green buds always makes me sigh a relief that warmer days are coming.
