Momo Challenge Believed to Be a Hoax
In the News
BBC has an article about the Momo challenge. No evidence has been found to substantiate the claim and it's believed to be a hoax.

This scare has been whipped up by the press/TV/social media, apparently no one bothered to do any fact checking before publishing/reporting.
Lol. It was someone's art project in japan or something? Not sure what the brief for that was though! Freaky
Often the paranoia created by a story, real or not, is blown completely out of proportion and has more of a negative impact than the actual event.
GlitchHunter I know I looked it up... the original sculpture is called the mother bird
I've seen a few videos of some of the conversations with the momo app. Apparently 'Momo' had a partner and he left her so she apparently drowned the children then herself. I think it's not real but whoever is behind this profile on whatsapp etc sounds like a paedophile, preying on young children and making them do things.
Real or not its bloody awful really hate the pic can just imagine what sort. Of person could come up
With the idea!
Sadly there will be a lot of trolls and others that wished they had thought of something like this earlier. Given the widespread coverage, it's possible a real version of this may made in the not too distant future.
