Monday Blues or Monday Funday
Ask a Question
How do you feel about Mondays ?? Do you dread it because it officially means the weekend has ended and it's back to work/college/home work life
Or do you love it and see it as a wonderful new day to start off the week full of opportunities
Has covid changed your mind in any way ?
Dread it the weekend goes to quickly, as I haven't stopped working Covid hasn't made a difference as I have to wake up at 7 for work and the best thing about the weekend is having a lay in
Don't like fighting kids to get up but gives me time to get housework done in piece so mixed really
Not keen on Monday. It always comes too quick. I'm working from home nowadays which makes it more bearable though
I used to dread Mondays when i used to work but i haven't been able too for some time now, so every day is the same really. but i really do wish i could have my old life back and hate Mondays again
I have a break off my day to day hassles and exercise work outs on the weekends. And I take time to relax. So I always go into Monday feeling energised and ready to go
Every day is pretty much the same for me these days, with no real distinction. Although I guess the official working week does start on Mondays
I wouldn't say I dread Mondays, but it's not my favourite day. I always seem to feel a bit sluggish on a Monday, like it's hard to get going with things.
I'm a stay at home mum so it doesn't matter what day of the week it is to me. I don't dread any of them, they are all the same for me.
Monday's I find not good if you have had all weekend relaxing then have to go back to work.
I enjoy Mondays because Monday is the start of a new week, a blank slate, full of opportunity. Covid hasn't changed my mind on this and it has changed the kinds of opportunities that are available each week. I've had to radically rethink my definition of fun, for example. Anyone else?
This Monday has been a real shocker for me.
Mungo (My Dogue de Bordeaux) has had to have an operation on a couple of epilise tumours in his mouth, so I've had that horrible sick like feeling in the pit of my stomach all day.
Plus, it looks like my pond pump is on its last legs, that's £180 I guess Amazon are about to get out of me.
Is it bedtime yet?
blacklabrador Oh dear, you've had a shocker. I do hope that Mungo is ok. My doggo Harvey has problems with his stomach every so often. We reckon it's after he's eaten a rat or something from out the garden.
MrsChimp has a sick feeling in her stomach atm, but we think that it's the KFC we had this morning winding up her condition.
He's doing ok, thank you TheChimp & Nadiaparveen sitting looking very sorry for himself, and then staring daggers at me.
Some chicken a little later (not the Kentucky kind) may win him round, he's very food driven.
Poor fella also had six teeth out while he was on the table, I wonder if you can get dog dentures.
More Tuesday joy than poosday here, dogo is on the mend and the pond pump may not be on its last legs after all.
