Money Saving
As Christmas is fast approaching, what are you money saving tips for Christmas. all tips Welcome
Buy gifts earlier, therefore it's cheaper. I use topcashback on all of my purchases that are eligible so therefore I am able to use the money I get on there to put towards gifts.
Definitely would suggest thinking ahead and working out how much you actually have to spare on Christmas and then working out your budgets. That is the main thing really. Work out what your budget is and stay within it.
Keep a list on your phone of who you want to buy for, and what you've bought as soon as you buy it.
It stops you forgetting and stops you buying more gifts than you intended to by accident!
The biggest savings I have made over the past few years has been to cut down on the Christmas buffet/nibble food. I used to always get too much as when I have family over I felt I wanted to have a selection of cheeses, meats, crisps etc etc. So I started just buying less so the choice was smaller on the days I had visitors. No one minded as all they really wanted was a little bit of cheese with crackers and some nice ham etc for a buffet. I ended up saving cash and did not have to eat all the left overs for days afterwards.
