are you a fan of sequels to movies? Do you wish there was a sequel to a certain film or are the opposite and wished there wasn’t a sequel to a certain film?
Really depends on the film and quality of sequels. I think its important to have original cast
I love the shining,I've not seen Dr Sleep yet but read the book,my friend said it was a great sequel,cant wait to watch it x
Great book and film. I was a little apprehensive about the film as some resent Steven king films not even similar to book for example the dark tower but loved it you want to watch asap you wont regret it
It depends really. If the sequel has a good storyline that's connected to the first film, then I enjoy it. But when they make a sequel just to cash in on the success of the first film, and there's really no story left to tell, then it's pointless and usually disappointing.
When I first watched Gladiator I was blown away by it. Throughout the film I kept thinking 'I hope they make another' so you can imagine how gutted I was when he died at the end.
I think every well known actor has a role that defines them and for me Russell Crowe WAS
Maximus Decimus Meridius.
Given how they turned out, the original Star Wars trilogy didn't need prequels or sequels. I would've liked to have seen sequels for The Fifth Element, Fight Club, Napoleon Dynamite, The Usual Suspects, etc. Although, given we've just had a third Bill & Ted film 29 years after the last one. Plus, Who Framed Roger Rabbit 2, Matrix 4, etc should be coming out in the next couple of years. You may just have to wait awhile to get the sequel you want.
The sequels to John Wick were pretty good.Better than the original film in my opinion.
I wish there was a sequel to the girl with the dragon tattoo with Rooney Mara. They were going to make the movies back to back but stopped for some reason. I know they did the movies in Sweden with Naomi Repace, they did the girl in the spiders Web a couple of years back and amazon are making a TV show based on lisbeth salander. But I just wish I got to see more of Rooney as Lisbeth. I was also disappointed with The Vampire Academy. It was one of my favourite book series but the movie was so bad the franchise didn't carry on. And I wish Elisa Dushku had agreed to come back on the spin off Buffy show, Faith as Joss Whedon had asked
I am happy though that the After movie series has continued. The first two movies were made and they said they would not do the last two because of the Pandemic. But this month they have changed their minds and are filming the final two movies back to back now
