Mulberry and Mike Ashley

In the News

Seems like Mulberry will be due a makeover if this takeover happens!

Ive always liked their bags, but never bought one as they’re too dear. If it gets the sports direct makeover, I won’t ever be buying one

I'm sure a lot of companies will be taken over due to the Pandemic it will make many vulnerable. I'd rather see firms taken over by a British company than foreign so I guess this is a good thing. It does huge damage to our economy with so many companies foreign owned and profits exported as well as often production moved abroad.

Mike Ashley? Oh, he'll change Standard Free Delivery to Standard Paid Delivery (£4.99).

He also bought GAME and made that retailer even more expensive with the ridiculous shipping fee. Even CeX doesn't charge that much (just £1.95 — it used to be £1.50 before).

For the sake of the employees I hope it always works out, but Mike is a greedy "gentleman."

PhilipMarc Cex used to be really good when you could pay £2 odd for as many items that you wanted.

Mike Ashley and gentleman should never be used in the same sentence.

PhilipMarc Gentleman doesn’t close to what Mike Ashley can be described as.
