Can You Name the TV Program That This is Taken From?
Other
This is one of my favourite tv programs of yesteryear.
Can you name it?
Have you ever seen it?
Or am I the only one.....
I am so pleased that someone else likes it. We have the DVD set but I am sure that I remember one where Nero actually went out and had a bowl of chilli in a restaurant somewhere and I don't seem to have that episode!
tumblespots You have a great memory, I can't actually remember any of the episodes just remembered watching it and enjoying it, I'm surprised they haven't repeated it.
Jamala I am sure that Mr Tumblespots and I found it by watching repeats albeit several (15 or more) years ago. That particular episode stuck in my mind because Nero hardly ever left his house, he always made people come to him. But I agree that it should be repeated again although sadly I don't think that today audience would find it gruesome enough (and no CGI) which is probably why it doesn't happen. Yes, I know, I live in the past but it is what it is.
tumblespots You are probably right, but I know lots that tune in for the lovely Angela Lansbury in Murder she wrote, and certainly no blood and gore or bad language there!
Jamala I am a fan myself for that very reason - no bad language & B&G. I also like the original Midsomer murders with John Nettles, Pie in the sky (Richard Griffiths) and have you ever watched The Detectives with Robert Powell & Jasper Carrott - absolutely hilarious,, we do wish they had made more of those.
All of the above (old enough to watch 1st time around). Also Bergerac with John Nettles and used to enjoy the cleverness of Jonathon Creek. Also loved the humour of Moonlighting .. my favourite from the 80's!
Bergerac, OH YES and Moonlighting but I have to confess that I have not seen Jonathan creek.
I am currently rewatching the DVD's of Jeeves & Wooster with Hugh Lawrie & Stephen Fry.
tumblespots Hilarious, loved Jeeves and Wooster and I'm guessing hasn't dated like so many. More gory but still love Silent Witness
