Did you know that Tomorrow Sunday 6th October is National Grandparents Day?
To be honest I had no idea and have never heard of this before.

theres a day for everything now theres a national “Stay at home with you dog and drink wine day”.... I think everyday is a different “national” day now...
No one tell my mil!! She will expect a card, flowers, dinner!! Only kidding but she would love an extra day all about spoiling her.
There is a day for everything now, like national carrot day. I think it's good to celebrate them, a local petting farm is doing free cream teas for them
Oh lordie !! There seems to be a national day for everything and everyone these days !!! I celebrate the fact that I’m a grannie everyday when my grandkids arrive to drive me slightly mad (in a good way) daily
in Poland there is also national child day grandparents day too I thinks it’s all daft i won’t be starting to buy gifts for another day
I like that this exists. It mush be nice for some Grandparents to be able to spend some time with their Grandchildren. Sadly, my grandmother from my mum's side whom I loved very much died when I was around 7 years old. My Grandpa from my mum's side I never got to meet. From my dad's side, I got to meet my Granddad when I was a baby but can't remember but have a photo. My grandmother from dads side is in another country but we keep contact and I send her presents when I can. I wish I could have spent more time with my Grandparents.
