I Need Help With A Quick Kitchen Floor Cleaner Please
Ask a Question
I've got a Shark floor cleaner and it's brilliant, the trouble is I'm having days of constant rain here week after week and mud is coming in all the time, because I've been junking out for months, the cleaner that I've got is kept in the box so it's a case of, get out the box, click together, fill up, heat up, when I just need something quick I can get out and just do the worst part each time and then use the cleaner when I do the full floor, the trouble is, before, I had a mop and large double bucket and I don't really want that again so I'm interested in what other people use, I have a big kitchen so something other than down on my hands and knees would be welcome , thanks x
Spray mop from hole bargains can also buy from amazon and some replacement micro clothes once one used pop in washing machine
Ann1984 I second this I have the home bargain one and it’s great for a quick easy clean x
I have a mop that has a swivel head - no water spray - and it does the job! It has a microfibre pad that can be taken off and washed or put on damp to take the dirt as well. I'm sorry Jo but I can't see a brand on it but I think there are many generic options out there. It takes up very little room and when the job is done the pad is washed and the pole takes up very little room and can't be damaged. Wasn't very expensive either.
Similar to this only my pad is different

Mmm I want something too, wonder about the flash speedmop, or one saw on a website called Brooklyn trading....can't decide!
Sarahvwomble I've spent ages on there Sarah, I bought this one in the end, 2 pads and really good reviews too! x

Sarahvwomble I did find a really cheap one Sarah but it only had one pad and I thought it best to get one with 2 because of washing and drying and it made better sense than buying universal pads or something but give me a shout if you want me to find it again as it was only £6.95 but this one is so much better I think! x
I must be a lazy cow cos I just chuck a large anti bac floor wipe down and rub it over the floor with my foot walking backwards lol!
But the floor doesn't get muddy and I do steam clean when it needs it.
I know what you mean about the muddy floors JoTarpley! I have a dog who loves to dig! She is in and out all day, and it’s a full time job cleaning her paws and the floor. I’ve got a flash mop which is handy for removing dog trail!
OMG I know what you mean about about your dogs paws gerrykelly25, my grass is just like a sponge to walk on now with soooo much rain, everything is just turning to mud and you forget how big their paws are until they remind you by kindly leaving footprints everywhere! x
JoTarpley the worst is when they manage to sneak back in without you noticing!
