My brother has just got himself a place but with money very tight, what deals have you found for hot plates, mini fridges and microwaves, thank you
Not my area of hunting deals but typically you can find such at Argos, Home Bargains, Wilko, Amazon, eBay (outlet retailers) and the likes. It also depends if he's picky about the brands, colors, styles and whatnot but for the lowest price you don't get much of a choice anyway.
If he is willing to buy second hand, try his local fb selling page or an electrical charity shop. Or if he can wait till black friday, he will get some brilliant deals then.

Also consider freecycle. You can sometimes pick up some useful stuff for free by just collecting it from the owner. I know when I have advertised there is always someone who is grateful for the products.
