Have you heard about the new Matrix movie being announced?
What are your thoughts?
I'm looking forward to it but not sure how they're going to bring back the characters - I guess we'll see.
Sad to not see Laurence Fishbourne (Morpheus) announced as coming back though - really hoping he does!
I've read this is going to be a film set in the same Matrix universe rather than a remake. I'd be OK with this if they try to do something a bit different from the original films. However, I suspect it will end up being an inferior rehash of the first film.
I think it's somehow going to be a prequel because they want to cast a younger Morpheus. Maybe some kind of time travel, somehow? I think it'll be different - I'm just not sure how they'll pull it off yet!
I read about it earlier today and all i could think was ‘oh boy, Keanu Reeves is certainly keeping himself busy!’ He is due to be making another Bill and Ted soon, if not already
Yeah, he is up to a lot isn't he? I was wondering about Bill and Ted too - heard about that happening a while ago but heard nothing since.
The Matrix was amazing and then the sequels went a bit rubbish. Interesting universe and I welcome another, hopefully going to get better.
Only the first film was really good while the rest were mediocre.
The movie/series industry isn't heading for a crash but they should because they're just remaking old shows and movies no one asked for.
I just hope they never make a new The Dukes of Hazzard again. I know they would change just about every about it.
I liked the ideas and that is why I am up for the new one. I just got too distracted by some of the really poor digital work in the movies that distracted from good stories.
