I'm a bit confused. I want to see some good new deals. I can either sort deals by 'newest', which I understand, but are not necessarily good. Or by 'popular', this I don't understand. How is it ordered, it's not by number of likes. Can you narrow it down to less than a week, as most good deals are gone by then?
try filtering the choices by using the categories and also atop the deals are newest top deals which takes you to the newest most voted top deals..

"Popular" combines the popularity of the deal with when it was shared - so you should get the most liked, recent deals on the homepage when sorting by popular.
Unfortunately you can't currently filter by a specific timeframe - but more filtering options is something we have in the pipeline.
