It's been announced that a new species of cat has been found. How cool is that.
A new cat species has been identified for the first time in over a century.
There is only one confirmed member of the species living in captivity - a cat found in Bolivia as a kitten, who is now around 10 years old and living at a wildlife sanctuary.
It was clear that the feline, nicknamed 'Tigrino'', didn't behave like a house cat, and DNA results confirmed it belongs in a class of its own
Thats great and a little sad. The species could die with that individual cat if its the only one
I saw it on the news last night, beautiful looking cat, I want one lol probably end up on the extinct list unfortunately , if deforestation doesn't stop , there must be more out there, but not many
I saw this online. I immediately wanted to pet the kitty. I love cats. Need to find more and mate them. Bet it would like some dreamies. 
Sherrifffroggy I have five cats and each is very different in its own way. It’s amazing they have found this unusual and unique cat but it’s ten years old and they have only just realised it’s a new species. Love your video clip. One of my cats absolutely loves these licky licks and actually holds onto it with its front claws while eating so she is actually just on two legs. I will have to get a video of her doing it and post it on here.

I don't have a pet right now, but I have family with a cat who got diagnosed with IBD, so she can't have licky licks or treats any more unless it's expensive freeze dried chicken bits.
I saw this on the news yesterday and had to read more into it. A new species of any relatively large animal is very rare so this is amazing news. Apparently the local villager took it in thinking it was a normal cat, i bet they were very surprised. Maybe they can name it after the villager.
I hope that more are found after this publicity and it doesn't become extinct. I always find it amazing when they find new species like this.
Aw so cute. Think it’s amazing that there are still new species being ‘discovered’ - hopefully they’re a hardy species not under the endangered category (so they’d need to find more around)
