Nice initiative, guys. 
This reminds me of the days of Pedlar (LD v1.0) when you'd refer a friend and get rewarded for it after reaching a certain amount.
I just hope people won't abuse this feature.

I still did not find out how to refer a friend...but seems to me the website is slow. Hardly could share 3 deals today. Each time the website froze down.
Rockman for today the 3 will be more than enough, because it is a bit annoying.
Every member has a unique refer-a-friend link. You can share your link to a friend. To find yours, go to Dashboard. It's about half way down:

How to turn any link into a refer-a-friend link
You can share any link to a friend and get points if they become an active contributor.
Just add the following to the end of any link:
- ?share=username
for example, mine is,
If you're a member of other Facebook Groups and sites, you could share a post from Latest Deals and if people sign up, you get the points
Nice work guys. Credit to the web designer, Tom you may have a pretty face that compliments your wardrobe of thongs and mankinis very well and very good promoting things in the public eye, but Kelsey in the corner quietly shows some amazing skills with some of the features that are implemented on the website. (I only use the website and Facebook as not a phone person, so can't comment on the hard work put into apps).
Glad I saw this thread, don't usually go on Dashboard and if I do I never scroll down the page, it's just to glance at my progress from time to time! Is there any way you could maybe post a notification message for each member Tom to alert everyone to this great new option? Not sure how long this has been an option, but pure luck that I just noticed this thread now! Thanks
It’s okay you haven’t missed much. It was just launched two or three days ago.
Also there is a way for them to notify everyone.... by clicking to subscribe to the daily newsletter. That’s where you’ll get all the latest info, it gets emailed to you

Thanks Amz, I get the daily newsletter, but not noticed anything in there about it yet. Although to be honest I don't always read it thoroughly as if I have been online a lot in the day and have read and posted deals throughout the day I don't always feel the need to read Tom's highlights! That's why I suggested a notification for each member, so it flags it up, or I guess if the email had a subject of 'refer a friend link details' or 'new feature' or something it would catch people's attention more than just tucking it in the daily email. But as Tom has since posted it is still early days and they are testing it slowly to start with. Just pleased I noticed it on here, as I think it's a great site and shared it with a lot of members over on HUKD when I made the move over when HUKD went downhill overnight with their so called revamp of the site. be nice to get a reward too now when telling others about how great LD is!!
Tom Thanks, I love how you guys introduce new features, and how they always seem to be what everyone wants, not just random diabolical updates like HUKD used to do, it's lovely to know members here are listened to and valued. Thank you to you and the LD team for all your hard work, this site ROCKS!

VoodooGirl Ohhh ok. I can’t remember but I’m sure I saw it on the newsletter. & yeah same here, I scan it, & if something catches my eye then I read in depth. & yes this is a fab site and the new rewards process is very rewarding. Very good idea by the founders
nice one, and defo reminded me of the good old Pedlar days too
