New Toluna Forum Offering Points for Surveys but You Can't Cash These In

Other

I just did a quick toluna survey asking me if I'd like to join a new forum called 'listen to your senses' about perfume, fragance and smells. Run by toluna. I said yes and joined and did the introduction profile survey. you get paid points to answer surveys BUT you can not trade these points in for vouchers/paypal like at the main site. Instead you can use these points to enter into prize draws each month and take it on faith that these prize draws do indeed take place. Another words you will be answering surveys for free and hoping that maybe one day your name will be pulled out a hat and £100 prize will be yours. Sounds to me like a way to get people to give their time for free in the hope that might get something back one day. I'm going to delete my profile there. I either get paid or I'm not doing surveys. Just thought I'd mention it incase anyone else is asked to join.

Overall I'm not big fun of Toluna, I had a few problems with them in the past. I also dislike how you can spend your time and half way through the survey you get the frustrating "sorry we are looking for slightly different people" but this prize draw system sounds even worse to me!

I think this new mini site is a big con. Getting people to do surveys for free. This week they did me out of out of about 7000 points. Every time I complete a survey I'd get the sorry we were looking message eventhough I completed. I'm getting closed to the Paypal pay out. I've had so many problems with Toluna. I had to change my password this week as it stopped accepting my old one. It has booted me out of the site when I've been logged in. I need to find a replacement for Toluna and just use toluna for the 15 point quick polls and the odd quick surveys of a couple of minutes as they make me so angry and I waste so much time with them.

ShellyAnn I also use them mainly for quick polls nowadays as I felt that I was wasting my time but I don't want to give up completely because I'm close to my first pay out 🤗
