New Website Idea: Pinning Certain Threads

I have been thinking of what I consider to be a great idea concerning new members. We quite frequently get new members starting new threads asking about our success with freebies/competitions as well as ones for where they introduce themselves. This is because the Introduce Yourself and Freebie and Competition Success threads frequently get pushed back, sometimes by as much as a couple of pages.
If you were to pin the two main threads, then I feel this would be a lot easier for new members. We do have the Search function, but there are many people who don't think to use it, particularly new members.
RegularComper90 It's a very good idea and I am sure this was discussed about a year ago. At that time the founders didn't think it would be possible to pin it. I agree that it would make life much easier for new members to have it at the top. One step further would be a tick when you've read like many other sites but perhaps that's a step too far.....
