Newbie Advice for Winning Competitions?

Ask a Question

I've only just started doing competitions over the last few weeks and after reading winners stories it seems that you need to be entering 100+ competitions a day to win anything!! I can't seem to find this amount of competitions each day so does this include the daily ones or am I not looking hard enough. Many thanks for any advise ๐Ÿ˜€

You really need to look on some of the competition sites. I honestly can't vouch for how good they are because I just never find the time to enter them. Have a look at this site and perhaps google similar ones - competition finder etc.

Edit - kikogpe can you advise please?

Thank you for the tips. I don't enter on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter and there seems to be quite a few there, maybe i'll have to get to grips with social media.

Hey, comping is certainly a hobby for the dedicated! Thankfully, Latest Deals has one of the best (and nicest) comping communities out there. Members share the best free-to-enter competitions here:

https://www.latestdeals.co.uk/competitions

There's about 50 new competitions shared here every day which is a good place to start ๐Ÿ™‚

I don't trust many of the other sites (including ThePrizeFinder, sorry sunny101!) because if you look behind-the-scenes the same people also own data collection and data selling companies too.

For some inspiration though, I'd recommend you get involved in this Chat thread where people share their freebie and competition wins:

Thanks Tom as I said, I enter very few and only when they are on this site so my knowledge was pretty useless.

For me, I treat it as a little hobby that fills any spare time I may find myself with.

You will go through very lean spells of not winning anything for months.

On the flip side, I have had times when I've won 2 or 3 competitions in a week.
