Nextdoor Neighbours Just Been Told to Self Isolate

Don't know how ell you get on with your neighbours but I'd be a bit more cautious, not going into garden if they are out, don't let them stroke Harvey etc. Have they had it confirmed or is it suspect?

and that includes your dog. So long as they are at least two metres away if they are in the garden, you should be fine.

I would stay well away from them! Don't let them near Harvey and don't go into your garden when they are outside. Avoid them at all costs, or at least as much as you can.

Viruses are incredibly vulnerable outside the body and the surfaces of dogs like hair etc would be full of bacteria etc that would consume the virus, the virus survives on clean sterile surfaces where it can't be eaten, bacteria is probably its main enemy which need dirty surfaces etc to multiply. There is evidence that those who had the original SARs virus have immunity to covid 19 and Covid 19 is basically SARs mk2 so its a strong likelihood that those who have had covid 19 will be immune to it afterwards with possible long term immunity because those with the original SARs seem to have had immunity that has lasted something like 14 years and works with covid 19. So many countries in the far east have a large amount of people with immunity. My point is once they've had it they shouldn't be infectious afterwards, the real issue is the long term damage caused by the body's own immune system fighting off the virus and damaging organs. The UK only had 4 cases of the original SARs virus.

The younger the person the more likely they will have the virus quickly and quickly destroy it. For older people the virus may migrate to other organs and until the body fully destroys the virus which could be months but those people don't seem to be contagious. It's like the virus needs to be in the respiratory track so it can be expelled. If its gone to your heart or brain etc then it does damage but you will not transmit it. I know covid 19 can infect the largest organ the skin but don't know what this means for transmission.

I got the virus mid January, so very early, had it about 12 weeks with minor symptoms slightly awkward breathing but not bad and then had it about 4 weeks where my body finally fought back with horrible symptoms. Finally a week in hospital with anti-biotics to fight the bacterial infection in my lungs caused by the damage of my own immune system plus I was on a oxygen tube.

The only good thing about having it is once you've had it you can be fairly sure you will have immunity or strong resistance to having it again so light symptoms. I've not heard of anyone being reinfected on the news either although many now have long term health problems because of it.

Take zinc and vitamin D to fuel your body to fight covid 19. It depletes your zinc levels very quickly and with low zinc levels can make far better progress in your body.

Now you know they are self isolating just be sensible and use bleach to wipe everything in your shared walkway, even car door handles. You could even use a weak solution on your drive if you think they have been near, ooh and fences. Stay safe and take care.

In life you have to be cautious so be that bit extra careful now but don’t get worried you can’t live a life always worrying
