Hi all to night there's going to be a strawberry moon. The moon is meant to look like a strawberry. I've never hearted of this be for or seen one be for have any of you seen one. But it's the right time of year to see one. I for one will miss it again weather is gale force winds and it's raining heavy hear. Hope all of you get to see one. Image Image

The skies around here are supposed to clear a bit around 10pm, so I will have a look out for it.

As a midwife heading to work for a night shift, safe to say I am dreading what this will bring to us 😂 for those who don’t know, a full moon tends to send pregnant women into labour so a strawberry moon will be even stronger 🙈

nicolajaynehend No probs. It's not much a strawberry moon as a cream one. It is a little pinky but not much. I was amazed I saw it. I get so disappointed trying to see comet, supermoons and whatever else is meant to be in the sky that I don't normally bother looking but there it was.
