After reading the article, I think he is just lashing out because they wouldn't take part in his art show.
He has the album name tattooed on his chest and has recreated the cover twice as an adult for the album's 10th & 25th anniversaries
Am I being unfair ?

It seems like he's still metaphorically grabbing for that dollar. Obviously we can't know how this man's life has been affected. Let the judges decide - if it gets that far. I do feel that the talk of sex trafficking venture, commercial child *********** and commercial sexual acts are ridiculous though and an insult to many who have suffered a great deal worse.
I totally agree, plus it's tainted what was a great album cover. I hope that the majority of people wouldn't view it as a sexual image. I know I don't.
beccatavender I love the album and I look at the cover as an amazing piece of art. It's a shame that he can't appreciate being part of such an iconic moment.
If he hadn't exploited it himself and taken advantage of the fame of it, then I would have a lot of sympathy for him as he clearly had no choice in the matter at the time. Like has been said - he was happy enough to pose for the photos as an adult when he did have a choice

He's been dining out from being on the cover all his life.

This comes across as nothing but financial opportunism. He's probably hoping one or more of the 15 people being sued will settle out of court. His parents gave permission for the image to be taken. If he didn't tell everyone about his involvement and pose for recreation photographs. Then people wouldn't know he was the person on the album cover.
People jump on any bandwagon that may make them money. This is not about morals but self gain. I discussed this with my wife and son earlier. Great post.
Clearly he didn't give consent as a baby BUT his parents did, he should be suing them if he is unhappy
