Do Not Swat the Wasp!

Other

They are my worst nightmare having been stung, but they do have their uses

Wasp venom and saliva have antibiotic properties, while yellowjacket venom has shown promise in treating cancer. In some tropical countries, wasp larvae are even harvested for food

They also eat caterpillars that can ruin crops and flies and spiders

And dont forget they help pollinate flowers

We have a wasp nest somewhere in the house but we cant find it, recently we've had a few slow wasps near the windows (inside) and i run a mile! I was really brave the other day and guided one out the window with a book! 🀣

I try not to kill anything if possible but the other day one was trapped in my greenhouse and I did everything possible to get it out unfortunately I killed it in the process ☹️

I absolutely hate jaspers, but I open a window and shoo them out if they get in the house.

Main problem is that Harvey the woofer wants to catch them and I don't want him stung.

TheChimp if our little woof is in the garden she often chases bees. She's been stung in the mouth a couple of times but she wont leave the bees alone. Think wasps are a bit quick for her 🀭

Animals can have an amusing look when stung by bees but I certainly don't wish it on any cat or dog.

I don't usually kill any creatures or insects but I do wasps. Horrible things. I like to put them under a glass and leave them in the sun to suffer like I'd suffer if they stung me. I know, I'm hateful.

Wasps are one of my most hated creepy crawlies along with moths and spiders (yes, I know that spiders are a necessary evil). Wasps are pesky little things which I wouldn't hesitate to get the can of Raid on to. I don't often get to open the window for them as I am too fearful that they might sting me on the way as they fly around the room.

I won't ever get the Raid on you though, Terence. πŸ˜€
