Number Has Appeared on Newest Button?

Help

When i come onto Latest deals today there is a number where the newest button is, I'm presuming it means the number is how many new posts there are, but can you turn it off? I already wonder what I've missed but I'll feel under pressure if i see a number, as if I've not checked in frequently enough. Probably sounds daft 😂

The new red button is no different to the notification button. I think the new red button is a great idea. You will now not miss new deals or go over old deals that you all ready seen. Long my the new red button stay. Very good idea.🎈

I guess I'll have to get used to it! I used to only get notifications if someone had replied to me or mentioned me in a post so it was always single digits. I'm not a fan of change, a flaw of mine! but I'm glad you love it 🙂

Lol I feel the same way about it - it’s a bit of an eye sore, and I have a compulsion to press it...I guess the LD team are trying to encourage people to look more at the new post opposed to the ones already trending

I came on this evening and it said 99+ i feel like it's judging me!! I feel bad enough if i miss a deal without it feeling like I'm not trying hard enough to keep my number down 😂😂😂 my mind works in funny ways!

SandyRhodes lol that’s what I saw too! And you’re not alone, as I don’t even like the notifications that show me how many unread emails I have - I do feel as if I have to get the numbers down also 😝

It "only" appears on the Mobile Ver. of the website, the Desktop Ver. runs as usual. It'd be great if that could be turned off, i.e., made optional.

Rockman I'm on a laptop, so that explains it. Thanks
