Nursery Teacher Gift Ideas?
Ask a Question
am looking for some inspiration for a nursery key worker. She's really helped my daughter settle in and my daughter is so keen on her.
i thought a box of biscuits (I know they get loads) for all the staff and something little bit special for her key worker? Any ideas. I appreciate they get lots of tat?
We always used to do the charity gifts like Oxfam Unwrapped where you can pay for textbooks for kids in a struggling country or similar. Some of them come with a little magnet or some kind of gesture gift along with a card explaining. We'd pair it with a nice, homemade card -always got great feedback.
Get your daughter to make a homemade card and then write a note saying thank you for how much she has helped and how much it is appreciated.
My daughte-in-law is a teacher and appreciates any gift even small ones. How about asking some of the other parents to chip in and give a voucher.
As the old saying goes it's the thought that counts, they should be appreciative for any gifts they get from the children .
I agree with MrsCraig and Mango4 that a handmade card with a thoughtful message will always be welcomed. Personally, I don't agree with putting pressure on other parents to contribute 'en masse' when they might not be able to afford it. Just one tip - no mugs! They end up in the staff room cupboard and I've witnessed, many times, the collection box for the charity shop. I hate the sad waste. If you really want to get something personal then a key fob with her initial on because this will be used.
Thanks everyone for the ideas... i shall get her cracking on her homemade card! My baking is awful not sure that would be appreciated!!
I always got the teachers a nice pen in a box though out the year I would pick them up ready for Christmas or end of year
