Can I Reheat This Food?
Ask a Question
Hiya, I use olio every week and take free things from pret. I wonder if someone knows if you can reheat the mac cheese which has already been cooked. I took it today but want to have it for lunch tomorrow
I don't see why not.
When you think about it, a mac and cheese ready meal from a supermarket has already been cooked and you have to reheat that.
Sniff test works the best! Pets dont have to check best before dates and ask reheating advice
You asked a similar question about food recently but I don't think it is a good idea to ask random strangers. Do some research and educate yourself on food hygiene. You could even take a course.
Exactly - many incidents of food food poisoning are caused by reheating food, the only advice that should be heeded is that IF any food is to be reheated it must be REHEATED THOROUGHLY. (not just warmed up)
If in doubt - DON'T!
I would if it's not meat or rice or a certain vegetable (that can become carcinogenic when heated), which it isn't.
It isn't just things containing meat that shouldn't be reheated, Rice if not reheated properly, is one of the commonest causes of food poisoning.
Some vegetables can even become carcinogenic if reheated.
