Has Any One Seen the New John Lewis Ad

Hi all hope you are all keeping well. I've just seen the new John Lewis ad it's so sad. It's about a man and his dog. He takes it the dog for a walk and it runs off. The man is very up set. He keeps looking for the dog. Then one day he the old man falls down and passes away. Then the dog comes back to the old man. It's a very sad ad. It made me cry. Have you seen it and what do you think of the ad. 
I haven't seen it yet, Nicola, but it doesn't sound like the usual offering. It seems to sum up 2020 more than an uplifting ads we normally get. I will look out for this one. Hope you're well - you've been quiet for a while. x
Hi sunny101 I find thank you for asking. You can find the ad on you tube. Just put in John Lewis ad. To me it a nice ad at the being then towards the end it's very sad. To me it's not ad for Christmas. Its ad I can't watch again it's to up setting and with every thing that's been happening it's to much. Hope you are keeping well in your self. ❤
Hi, just want to say its the alternative John Lewis advert not the official one as that's not out yet. It's very good and poignant too and did make me cry! I hope we have another Edgar type one this year to give us a bit of cheer as I know we could all do with it! Also, my son wanted an Edgar toy 2 weeks after they sold out everywhere last year so I had to pay an eye watering price on ebay to make his day for Christmas so I won't be getting caught out of there's a toy tie in this year!
Hi emmabeckz thank you for telling me it's not the official one. I did not know. Yes I loved last year one with edgar. Wonder if they will do a part 2. That would be nice. Wonder if you will be able to get edgar this year like you i could not get one. Hears hoping.

I've got to agree with you gerrykelly25 That advert left me feeling really sad and it highlights the importance of pets. 
It isn't the official John Lewis ad. It is the alternative John Lewis ad. There is normally one realised each year. The official John Lewis ad hasn't been released yet. I haven't actually seen it yet.

Haven't seen it fully but am wondering how quickly the funny alternative version will be launched....that's the one I look forward too 
The new one is ok but I don't think it will hold my attention as much as previous ads. Edgar from last year was the best!
yes, I saw it earlier today. It’s alright, spreads a good message. Cant say it’s as good as previous years, but it serves it’s purpose
That sounds like a shorter version of a book I read my daughter years ago she kept laughing at me cause I was having trouble reading with crying
