What's Your Best eBay Bargain?
Money Saving
Last week I ordered a carpet after looking at many online shops, and ordering samples (which can be used as coasters too) I was lucky as I saved £30 buying a carpet from ebay, as it would have cost more buying it direct from their online store. I collected some nectar points too. Placing items in your basket is also a good idea, as the seller sometimes offer you a discount!
What's your best eBay bargain?
A New look brand new coat priced £69.99 for £18 because the seller took really bad angled photos. But I manage to find the same coat online and it looked nice. Then that same coat I sold for £34.99 used. So basically got my money back with profit and even had worn it. Often find loads of bargains when sellers take really bad photos of the items.
Thanks for the tip about placing items in basket hoping the seller might offer a discount. Has anyone ever tried this trick with any success?
davidstockport I have number of times it’s normally only a 5percent discount you don’t have to just add to basket it works if watch item too
Ann1984 Thanks... 5% is better than nothing - I had wondered if it applied to things being watched. I've often watched things on ebay but don't recall being offered a discount. There was a time (many years ago) when after I had been outbid on an item, the seller offered me another at the price I had bid. Where the same thing was being offered as buy it now, or bid, same buyer different listings. I would put in a low bid.
I quite often use baycrazy or fatfingers website. Baycrazy - you can search for items or anything local to you with no bids. Or items ending soon with no bids.
Fat fingers - search for things people have mis-spelt, you search the type the correct spelling.
PinkElephant26 I remember these but forgot the names of site thank you for reminding
