If you were to start a buying and selling business how would you go about it first. What sort of stuff would you think be good idea. I ask because am thinking of starting one up but not sure where to start
You would have to think about what would interested you and what online stores you like looking at. The more passionate you are about what your selling the more your likely to persuade people to hand over their cash
Imnotcheap I have idea to do kids stuff like clothes toys etc would start with ebay first as not sure how to set up a Web site so any help and ideas be great
Ann1984 you could do an online course to find out. I just completed one through local children centre there are loads for free
You need to know the stuff you want to sell back to front and front to back and then some and also have a passion for it . I had a nice sideline buying and selling golf clubs . I knew exactly where to buy cheapest and what I could sell them for . That takes a passion for what you are selling and great knowledge of the product .
Also , if selling on Ebay you need to build up a great feedback history , even add in a surprise cheap gift (I often added a few tees or a golf ball to each order ) surprising how a cheap thing like that brings glowing comments in the feedback narrative .
To sum up , know your product .
Golfforall thank you am going to start off small local first abit of a delboy style bulk buy. Go to local bm stores and scan as some hidden gems to be had and hopefully build up a nice pot to go and get more expensive stuff. It's all new to me but with jobs so hard to get am thinking more for future maybe one day have a small unit (dreaming as I wrote that)
