Online v High Street Shopping

Do you shop more on the high street or online- doing a bit of a U turn lately and shopping in store as Finding im getting bad service or quality online lots of bad stitching missing parts lost orders etc- what about you?
i started to do online shopping more it seems to me that the high street is dying out most of the shops near me have closed down or closing down and when i do go shopping i can never find the right size clothing or most things that i can not find i get told there are only available online anyway so i have stopped wasting my time on going out to look i no i can get what i want without all the hassle
yes this was exactly why I started and have been in favour for many years but this past 2 years the quality of products has nose divided and I am constantly phoning either items are broken or missing- the other day I ordered a few dinner service bits from a very high end designer the courier literally thrust parcel and ran could tell immediately stuff was broken the box looked ran over and I stopped courier as was going to refuse delivery he wouldnt take it and said nowt to do with me and ran off. Out of 8 items 6 were dust.
For food I shop in the supermarkets and for most other things I do it online. And even when I need something from many larger shops I do it online and then collect from them. It is only when I really need to see the product I head to the shop and then sometime you check the price online and it is cheaper.
I have noticed a certain supermarket has cheaper prices online than in store so I tend to do my food shop online where I can

jmsonl sainsburys! A week or two ago I wanted yoghurts and looked online went in store- big supermarket and found it was not on offer wondered if offer had ended and nope looked online and it was in full swing saved 1/3 has happened a few times past few months
Online has become a necessity due to poor mobility but I really miss not browsing the stores and trying things on. I’ve not had a problem with delivery so in that respect I must be lucky. If I could I would certainly visit shops just to feel the fabric and get a better idea of the cut. I do tend to stick to M&S, Boden, John Lewis and few other we’ll know brands.
know exactly what you mean I hate the feel of some fabrics and things look so different online compared to real life. dont miss the shoving and pushing though lol Hope you remain well 
I love both , for convenience online shopping is better. But for actually seeing and feeling what you are buying I love the high street and I like to try and support local businesses as much as I can , I would be gutted if some of my favourite shops shut down in my local city centre .
I shop online most of the time, hate shopping in general. Food shop is delivered to me and I pay a fee for that but near me it's all on road parking and rarely find a spot in a road near me let alone outside. Don't fancy carrying the goods back home from where I park
yes this happens to me too and ive been so knackered ive just paid for the delivery because the thought of lugging shopping home was just too much, im ashamed to admit but its true lol
I do half and half. I think it is easier online. But sometimes the sizes are not good and also return is not easy, takes ages.
I bought a Triumph piece and returned it, did not even took out from the packaging, because it looked so different than on the picture online. It was more than a week ago and got no refund, so will need to write to paypal to squeeze them. Really disappointed....
this is so frustrating seems I am constantly on the phone or emailing chasing my money back- Oliver Bonas has lost a full delivery with no idea where it is this has been a month and still waiting for goods/refund! I feel you
I use both. I like to try clothes and shoes before i buy them so tend to use the high street unless i know the brand and what size i would be. I went shopping for holiday clothes and some things were a size 10 some 12 and some 14, so clothes shopping online for something new is difficult.
yeah thats it isnt it if you want to try something new its a gamble, That said I fing that trousers and dresses are starting to vary from same trusted brands these day so I get nervous ordering online- either that or my beyonce thighs are just getting outta control 
Depends what I'm shopping for but I do a lot of it online at the moment as it is easier with the wee one but I do enjoy taking him out places so do shop on the high street every so often.
Food - Main/high street
Practically everything else - Online
That is while in a city, but on a rural zone you're likely to have to visit stores wherever they are to get it. You can order it online but takes longer to arrive.
Food shopping: Ocado online
Household Items: Amazon Prime or other suppliers online
The only time I shop in the high street is for social activities with visits to my local coffee shops or restaurants.
I have saved a small fortune by only buying to replace, especially since I moved to a smaller house. It is people that are important, not 'things'. That's the mantra I live by and it is so much simpler for it...
