Ordering off of "Wish"?

Other

What is everybody's opinion on "Wish"? I have recently seen some things I like and was wondering if it is legit or a scam?

Any opinions?

Yes i just got a rather natty usb microscope for my electronics smd repair workstation from Aliexpress £4.99 usually £35 - strange how Latestdeals have stopped us posting deals from Aliexpress and Banggood - half of the things on here are on there half the price!

Microscope will come in handy for checking out that funky Coronavirus they are all talking about!

😜

Ann1984 Yeah a lot of people like me buy stuff then sell as UK seller as folks dont want to wait weeks so you can virtually buy double the price and make a nice profit on things that are in demand - easy to make money from home if you know how my pal Scott in Fort William has been making over £1000 a week selling army surplus survival gear for the last 10 years he is a real wheeler dealer he is the real Delboy he started off selling grassheads at the Barras in Glasgow - pair of tights, some grass seed and sawdust and he was selling them at a tenner a pop - wish I had that Delboy magic touch!

He made £10,000 in one week once the coronavirus thing took hold!

Mind you not gonna be much use when everyone is dead!

Just on the darknet lastr night and some of the posters from China have said the authorities have been lying and there are over a million infected and its not getting better as they have been telling the West!

Scary end of times!

Thank goodness i kept my moneyworld portfolios!

EVGEN PHARMA and Oxford Biomedica look like a good buy!

Ryanair is a sure fire winner after the collapse of the airlines!

I was on the point of buying guitar strings from them but then found they were counterfeit (I thought price was too good to be true) . If you check this you'll be able to make your mind up by reviews from people who've actually been parted from their money by them https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/wish.co.uk

I am always reading reviews before trying something new. And Trustpilot is the first reviewing site I go to. 😊

RegularComper90 It's also advisable to read the negative reviews first (they're usually the genuine ones). You can (with practice) almost tell by the wording that many of the "glowing reviews" are posted by the same people, using different names, I suspect there's a thriving industry in supplying positive reviews, which help counter negative reviews,

That for "Wish" doesn't need much scrutiny though.

It will probably work as most things are made in China. It probably won't last as long compared to branded things.

It's great. Cheap stuff, direct from China.

Never used them, but lots of people have been impressed by them. They’re probably no better and no worse than the likes of banggood, ali express, your usual eBay and amazon sellers that are from China - same factories using different platforms

I have used Wish in the past and wouldn't go back to using them again.

The products either take ages to turn up or they don't turn up at all. Quality of products is generally mediocre at best also.

I've ordered off of there before. Granted it was a few years ago but considering a lot of their stock comes from China I'm not going to order off there until the Corona has been sorted.

I've ordered things on Wish twice before, I was generally pleased, things do take a few weeks to arrive though so be prepared to wait. I've heard others say that the sizing of some clothes on there is not so reliable though so maybe check the reviews on clothing if that's what you're looking at

Dare I say it may be a bad time to judge them on dispatch and delivery times. I hear they've had a few problems to deal with over in China that may have affected day to day business.

I wouldn’t recommend them, have used them before and you get what you pay for, cheap tat :-)

I ordered a cat scratching post on there which never arrived and the seller put a fake parcel tracking code which said delivered, the customer service is useless and took me about 20 emails back and forth to eventually get a refund, which probably wasn’t worth the time and hassle it took 😂
