Own Christmas Hamper
Ask a Question
Does anyone make their own Christmas hamper as a gift and if so what do you put in it ?
It is difficult choosing a gift for my sons and their wives so nearly every year I make them up a luxury hamper of goodies. I would sooner put 6 -12 good things in than 2 dozen cheap things they can get any time, so it usually consists of:
Bottle of wine, bottle of something like Baileys, shortbread tin, biscuit tin, box of chocs, choc coated nuts, fruit in alcohol, and so on.
I tend to put in Christmas treats. Mulled Wine / Baileys/ mince pies / Stollen / Cristmas cake / Xmas flavour crisps / Nuts / Gingerbread / Hot Chocolate.
Hi, I make Christmas hampers and put in things like a bottle of wine, box of chocolates, tin of shortbread, biscuits, nuts, fudge, Christmas pudding, mince pies etc. I have made pamper hampers, makeup hampers, unicorn themed ones etc
My friend is gluten intolerant so I make a hamper of frivolous things that she would never buy. Her face is a picture, worth all the trailing around the shops
I havent done a food hamper. But I have made one up of different alcohols or different gifts. like a bath set ones. Or random ones with all sorts of different cute gifts in
Yes because the ones you buy look half empty and over priced. What you put in is just tailored towards the person/people it has been created for

My Granddaughter will only be 3 months old this year so I have done a baby hamper containing lots of baby products that her Mum probably wouldn't buy, I have just been picking them up when they have been on offer.
Yes I’ve done food ones and pamper ones.. i tailor them to the person that’s receiving them, but general idea of food is chocolate, biscuits, tea or coffee, fancy crisps, chutney or jams... pamper ones I put hand creams, lip balms, nail files, bubble bath, socks, candles, body lotion...
I made them last year and bought cheap aftershaves/perfumes them topped it up with samples I had and then added a few chocolates and biscuit and got chocolate
I don't but my mum does. She makes them specific to that persons interests so they are always different
