Parents Proud Moments
Ask a Question
Just needed to share. My daughter saved a girl from drowning in the Medway this evening. So proud of her. If she hadn’t been fixing a broken window it would have been a different story as she lives on the third floor of flats overlooking the river. Have you got proud moments you want to tell about your children?
Haven't any moments like that to recall but you have every reason to be exceptionally proud of your daughter as it is not everyone who has the chance or courage to save a life. Well done to her, the girl's parents must be incredibly grateful to your daughter.
Although my two boys haven't done anything like that I am immensely proud of them anyway because they are decent human beings, and wonderful husbands, fathers and sons. I feel blessed to have them.
Spooky... my son is now 27 but when he was 13 we were on the beach at Brighton and similar scenario, a young boy about 10 got into difficulty in the sea and his mother ran over to us to help, before I could say anything my son had shot into the sea and got the other boy back to shore safely. I was immensely proud of my son, and still am to this day, it was a very brave thing that he done. Before I even read your story this is the first thing that came to mind for me and well done to your daughter too, you have every right to be proud of her.
