Are You Part of Your Family WhatsApp Group?
Ask a Question
By that I mean to be part of a WhatsApp group that someone in your family made and every family member is part of that group.
I am part of my family WhatsApp group but only close family such as parents and siblings, not the entire family! I mean imagine!
We have a family WhatsApp but it is close family only bit it would be nice to have a separate one for extended family
We have a siblings + their OH group, it's 6 of us so not too bad. There's a cousins Facebook group but it's not used much.
I am, but I can guarantee to wake up to 300+ messages from the night before. I have to mute the conversation a lot of time
They let slip once that there is one but im not part of it and to be fair wouldn't want to be
I speak to my brother maybe once a year (if that) and i don’t think anyone in my family even has WhatsApp let alone a group chat, we’d have literally nothing to discuss
I was until I blocked my mum and sisters 3 weeks ago! Long story short my mum for the last 15 years has put my heroine addict sister before anyone else! I needed support after a traumatic birth of my daughter and my mother wouldn’t help as she was to busy with the skag head.
There’s only a few of us in our family whatsapp group, so it doesn’t get much activity. But I worked with a woman who did have her entire family, extended cousins and all, on her whatsapp group, and she was forever checking the notifications. It kept her close to them - she’d married and moved away from them, and whatsapp helped her feel as if they’re still nearby
Yes, good way to keep in touch during our local lockdown restrictions. Nice to see daily updates on my little baby niece and watch her grow as not see her for 6 months and she is now 9 month old
I've only just got into WhatsApp and fancy setting up my own group so will be looking into it soon.
My family have one but I have no interest in being part of it. I prefer speaking to one family member at a time
