Any Particular Types of Comps That You Have the Best of Luck With?
Competitions
Are there any particular types of comps that you have a better luck at winning than other types of comps? What I mean by types of comps is like; Rafflecopter, Gleam, Facebook, Twitter, entry form, email and so on.
I seem to have the best of luck with both Rafflecopter and Gleam comps, with the comps where I have to email my entry being a close second.
For me, I have won the most on fb comps, but have also won quite a few from twitter, instagram, magazines, blogs, rafflecopter and gleam. I enter a number of different types to make the most of my chances.
I am so tempted to rejoin fb just for the comps but I really hate social media and all the bad publicity around fb recently. I did win one from RoyalMail when I was on it. Not high value but one I really wanted to win, and I did. I love game of thrones and the prize was a selection of g.o.t. Stamps and an old fashioned writing set with feathers, wax and seal etc.
lynnibis I used to regularly enter Facebook comps but I got tired of having to tag people and publicly share stuff on my timeline all the time, which no doubt would have become a bit bothersome for my friends. I do still sometimes enter FB comps, but only the ones that don't ask you to share and tag.
I don't enter the ones that ask you to share unless it is something that I really want to win. I have a few people that I tag in those posts, with their permission.
Yes you are right. I don't enter those I have no use for as it seems unfair to stop someone else winning who may really want or need it. However, there is always someone in the family who would appreciate a dvd if you know their taste.
lynnibis Do you ever bother with the comps that require effort to enter? They don't get as many entries either.
I have done the Tell us in 300 words type of comp but I work a 6 day week every week so finding time to keep up with all the comps posted is about my limit.........I do them over coffee and breakfast every morning as I am a creature of habit
