If youve won a phone that costs a few hundred pound then i doubt they would ask for £3 for delivery. Did you enter the competition they are saying youve won?

It's a dating site, you have to sign up for £18.95 a month and although mentions the phone at the top of the page, it doesn't say it anywhere else, plus they are saying its an iPhone X but only has 3gb storage. The company has only recently been set up, probably to con people, so unscrupulous

If you can' t actually remember entering a competition to win a phone, it's most unlikely you've won a phone, it's just a phishing or scam e mail that should be ignored

I wouldn’t risk it. It does sound a bit dodgy to me. I think if you had won a phone they would send it for free. Don’t think a legitimate competition winner ask you to pay £3 p&p !

I have already won several competitions and I can say that the contact is always done first by phone or email from an employee of the company, directly from the work email, with name, position in the company and contact information.

No one would send an SMS requesting a payment to receive a prize, make absolutely certain of it.

Standard rules for all this kinds stuff. If it feels too good to be true then it is a scam. If you feel it is unsolicited the delete the message.
