PayPal Can Refund Your Returns Costs!
Money Saving
Thanks to BORDERJOE I was looking on the PayPal website (to see if I was eligible for the free £5) and I spotted an Offers section where I saw this:
“We'll cover up to £15 of return shipping costs for up to 12 eligible PayPal purchases worldwide.”
https://www.paypal.com/uk/webapps/mpp/refunded-returns
I had no idea about this, so it will make me feel better about ordering some items where I might need to return them if they don’t fit etc.
The process is a bit hidden away so here are some steps on how to use it:
1) Make sure you log in to your account using the PayPal website and not the app and use this link
https://www.paypal-returns.com/hc/en-gb/requests/new
2) Click on the ‘Go to Activity’ button and you will see a list of your transactions so you select the one you want to get a refund for.
3) There is a sentence which says ‘Get Return Shipping On Us’ - that is the link you need to click on
4) It will ask you to provide a photo of your postage receipt, how much it cost and when you sent your parcel back.
Then they will refund that postage cost back to your PayPal account within a few days.
Hope that makes sense. Any questions just ask.

There is also a discounts section that I didn’t know about, not a great deal there but every little helps:
snoogans888 hey thanks for those ..... I hadn't noticed so guess where I'm off to check out later! and yep ...every little DOES help ....that's what I think too!
BORDERJOE you’re welcome! Love this site for sharing helpful info! I didn’t get the free fiver but I’ll get my other half to check his account later and he’ll have it!
I have claimed postage back from PayPal a few times so at least I have not been out of pocket if I have had to return a item
I activated it, but can't find the link to make a return request. Guess I'll send them an email like I've done before.
Edit: Just received a response saying I'll receive a refund within five working days.
The advantages of buying via PayPal than anyone else.
PhilipMarc it’s brilliant! I have to return a bag bought from eBay as it’s terrible quality and the seller only gave me option of printing out the returns label but I don’t have a printer. So at least I can return via post office and then get the money for postage back.
I sent them an email to their address at cspaypalreturns_uk@telusinternational.com
Included my name, address, PayPal email address, tracking ID, postage paid, and screenshots (of the purchase in your PayPal account)/photos as evidence (parcel if necessary).
I know there used to be a direct link with a form to fill in all details, but I couldn't find it anywhere so I do it this way.
PhilipMarc glad you found a way to contact them.
I saved this link, hope it works for you
Nope. That doesn't work for me, it shows the steps, but I don't see an actual link / hyperlink to click.
PhilipMarc so are you getting to the page where you see your list of transactions in the Activity section? If so, then you click on the transaction and you will see all the details and there is a line which says Get Return Shipping On Us - that is the link
I didn't know that I am going to use PayPal now for returns up to £15 return shipping cost thank u for sharing
Thanks for sharing this. The saying really is true....you learn something new everyday. This is definitely something that i'll be looking into.
