Yes definitely, its embarrassing -they are so naive. But, do you tell them, or let them carry on putting it out there? I sometimes put a laughing emoji on there to try and give them a subtle clue.....

I agree. Some older people also have a sense of superiority due to their age and life experiences but older doesn't mean wiser.

very true - but it can be hard to tell someone elderly that they need to stop spamming you, especially if they think they have tried to do something good

You just have to teach the elderly about fake news and let them know in a nice way what they shared is not official so they can learn..

zerocenturyzero lol the only issue is when something sounds urgent, they will just share it immediately - they are from a generation where they were not exposed to all this online nonsense, and it is only perhaps with time when they learn not to waste their time with the fake stuff
