Period Pants. Had Anyone Tried Them/use Them
Ask a Question
I'm just wondering if anyone had tried the period pants.
I've bought some for my daughter ( not yet needing them yet) to store away ready for when she needs them.
You don't need to use a sanitary towel with the brand I bought and they are supposed to hold up to 2 tampons worth.
I've never worn them but have been told from others that the downside is the smell. You change tampons/pads every 4-8 hours for hygiene reasons and this is one of the things that puts me off period pants.
I use Thinx pants and they’re great - do not smell bad as you might think and are very comfortable. No problems washing them either. My very skeptical friend has even been converted so they’re worth giving a go!
Yes I read they have a smell protection lining in them. I've never tried them ( no need for them now as gone through the menopause) but never knew they existed until a month ago.
My daughter is getting to that age now were her hormones are starting to kick in and thought these would be a lot more comfortable than a bulky pad. So hopefully when the time comes for her, she will find these much more comfortable than sanitary towels. Plus the pants are so much better for the environment.
