Did You Get a Pet during Lockdown?

Ask a Question

I have seen in the news many people got pets during lockdown but I’m worried these are going to get abandoned when people go back to work. What are your views?

No. I don’t see pets as things to keep me entertained, just to be discarded when I get bored. I see them as my kids, my responsibility for life, and I would never get one unless I was 100% sure that I could care for them

We already had pets. Cat food for some reason is pretty darn pricey while dog food barely costs anything.

I had a rabbit when I was at uni, he was great fun to have around. I'd love to get another one but my flat contract doesnt allow pets

I can't believe the cost of puppies now. It's only going to lead to unscrupulous breeders and puppy farms ☹️

My Mrs Pup cost £50 she was the last in the litter and they reduced the price we travelled 11 hours to get her (best decision ever). She was in a family environment and was just left to get on with it ate out of the food bag, was allowed to piddle and poo wherever and when we got her home she had worms so bad that her poo was moving. My Mr Pup cost more, he was in a couples ground floor flat he was wormed sectioned off in a pen where they were given toilet areas and really cared for. Neither one of my pups were from breeders, they were from family pets.
